An editorial author profile: the page a byline links to
(icvoss/django-brickwork#416). Second archetype in the Editorial and
publishing family.

COPY THIS FILE into your project and edit it. It is not on the template loader
path, so you cannot extend it (ADR-056).

What your view must supply:
    crumbs                   breadcrumb trail: [{label, url}, ...], last unlinked
    docs_nav_label           rail / jump label (this page uses "Also writing")
    docs_search_action       the URL bw_search in the site header submits to
    author_name              display name (profile heading and avatar label)
    author_initials          initials fallback for {% include %} _avatar.html
    author_role              short role line under the name (e.g. "Staff writer")
    author_bio               longer biography paragraph
    articles                 list of {title, href, snippet, category_label,
                              category_href, published_on, reading_time}, or ()
    author_state             "ready" | "empty" | "error"

WHY THIS PAGE EXTENDS THE DOCS SHELL, NOT A NEW EDITORIAL SHELL:

Same deciding fact as examples/editorial/article.html and ADR-091: reading
column plus optional rail, site chrome outside <main>. An author profile is
still a journal reading surface; inventing a parallel shell would fork the
same seams. Family taxonomy stays the examples/ directory
(`editorial/` -> "Editorial and publishing").

WHAT THIS PAGE IS FOR:

The article byline already names the author and links here. This page is the
full profile: portrait or initials, bio, and the author's published pieces as
a list. It is not marketing #116 (person / portrait section on a campaign
page); that issue stays demand-gated unless the engage homepage is the
consumer.

ARTICLE ROWS ARE FAMILY-NEUTRAL CARDS, not .bw-listing-list__item. That
listing class is marketing-family (tests/test_family_boundary.py). Each piece
is an interactive bordered bw-card whose whole surface is the link, matching
docs/search-results.html and the docs home start-here cards. Category text
on the card is plain meta, not a nested link: nesting an interactive control
inside the card's <a> would break the single-link surface.

States: author_state is the page's real branch.
  "ready": profile header, article cards, category rail.
  "empty": the author is known but has no published pieces yet (or they were
    all withdrawn). Profile header stays so the reader knows who they found;
    the list band is _empty_state.html. Chrome and breadcrumbs stay.
  "error": the content store failed. bw_alert danger; no invented profile.
  LOADING: not applicable for the default server-rendered path.
Accessibility: avatar aria-label matches author_name; article cards are real
  <a> elements; empty and error keep search + breadcrumbs. Role and bio are
  text, not colour alone.
Responsive: inherits the docs shell; article cards stack in one column so
  snippets stay readable (same craft as docs search-results).
